The fireplace, both wood and fake fire are top quality when compared to others I’ve seen in big box retailers and it was considerably less money… The remote turns on and off the unit only – which makes good sense to me. The only reason I would have to adjust the thermostat would be if I were to move the fireplace to a different room. The thermostat is easily adjustable and the flame and heat can be controlled separately.”
